Purpose
To prepare content and deliver a 2-day training on virtual counselling to Counsellors from CSOs working to support women, men, girls and boys experiencing and affected by GBV in Botswana.
Objectives
- Design and develop the course materials including PowerPoint slides, videos and reading material
- Prepare and submit a detailed 2-day agenda
- Deliver 2-day training to selected participants
- Write and submit a Training report
Time frame
- The assignment will cover a period of 8 working days
Required expertise, qualifications and competencies, including language requirements:
- A minimum of Master’s degree in (Public Health, Sociology, Gender Studies, Development studies or relevant discipline);
- Over five (5) years progressively responsible professional work experience in development, gender programming, gender equality and women’s rights
- Experience in developing curriculum, training manuals or teaching guides and training or teaching
- Knowledge and experience of working in the area of gender-based violence in Botswana or similar context
- A good understanding of legal, policy and institutional frameworks for gender, health and justice systems in Botswana
- Excellent facilitation and organisational skills
- Excellent writing, analytical, and computer skills
